79,200 feet

On Saturday, I set out to run 79,200 feet. That is 15 miles, just in case you were wondering!  I ran about 5 solo, them met up with Jill & JoAnna.  We finished the last 10 together.  Along our route, we "ran" into Roz & Mandy!!!  So fun to see them on my celebratory run!

Oh, and guess who was able to conquer Temple Hill!  Yep, you guessed it, Lori BS!

I was not nervous to run 15 miles today. I knew that I could do it. I was not going to go super speedy fast, just a nice easy pace.

The scariest thing about running  15 miles today.... crossing the highway!  I chose to drive across the 4 lane traffic, and parked at the Maverik.

As I ran through Millville, I ran past our local wild turkeys. Usually they run away from me, but today when I ran into them, they froze. Just  like deer freeze when they see car headlights, these turkeys froze when they saw me coming. Do you think it had anything to do with my outfit?

At mile 12, my friends were teasing me because of the goodies that I found!   Always finding something.  Funny thing is, I usually find condoms on my running routes! Not sure if that is a good thing or not!

Jill was just a little too PERKY after 15 miles.
Me, I just wanted or needed a Dr. Pepper!

This fence was falling down,
I am glad that I was able to hold it up.

  1. Eww...put those "treats" down! You don't know where they've been.

Great job on the rest though!
I wish I could come over and run with you and keep up. I know...I can ride my bike while you run.
